Pearl Jam's "State of Love & Trust" & "Corduroy"

Jeff said there must be something in the air because everything is driving him bananas too. Perhaps there's truth to that because in conversing with a handful of pals, everyone seems a little peeved at one thing or another. An inappropriate text message, an unfortunate untimely phone call, spurting out personal views on a personal subject that is so distant one has no reach commenting on it... Nothing large for the most part, but you know how they say "when the little things pile up..." Well there's some dog piles springing up in certain corners. The fucked up thing is that, I know life is good and I have nothing to complain about. My rant in and of itself is nothing more than bratty and spoiled.

But nothing parallels the unintelligible annoyances and discontent like a little Pearl Jam. I mean, yeah they're good for more than that but boy... did they resonate today. Maria was text messaging me from Lollapalooza, during PJ's set... Another trip I wish I took, but only if I could be there solely for their set. Anyway, she kind of inspired this Pearl Jam headtrip, so here's to you Mia!
