Finding, commissioning, editing, directing, mixing and producing   
segments for the show. These include stories with field reporting and   
sound, host interviews and authors reading original fiction and non- 
fiction. 
Designing entire programs, in collaboration with the senior producer. 
Structuring and producing stories with free lance reporters. Some of   
our producers also sometimes report their own stories. 
Directing talent in the studio, editing voice tracks and quotes,   
selecting and mixing music into the stories. 

Knowledge, skills and abilities: 
Digital audio editing and mixing skills are essential. 
A track record of making narrative, emotionally-evocative stories is   
essential. 
Five years reporting or producing experience in radio, preferably for   
a nationally distributed show. Film or TV documentary experience may   
substitute for radio experience, if it's making stories close to the   
style of our program. 

Qualifications: College Graduate or equivalent experience.

Support International Communications Department in achieving goals, in

Corporate Communications 
Support the Director by liaising with regional intl communications   
heads to compile international MTVNI updates for monthly and quarterly   
corporate reports. 
Support the development and execution of press strategies around core   
lines of business and international programming launches, including   
pitching trade and consumer media. 
Write and update executive bios, global calendars, internal   
announcements, briefing documents, and other corporate documents. 
Draft press releases, Q&A and other press docs to support the

Responsible for general corporate PR duties such as organizing photo   
shoots, internal event logistics and key corporate meetings. 
Brand Support 
Field daily publicity requests as directed to support channel series   
and season launches, including interview requests with talent and   
executives, press releases, artwork, series/episode descriptions,   
media coverage. 
Work in partnership and liaise regularly with international and   
domestic PR & other teams. 
Help manage distribution and flow of all MTVNI communications assets   
amongst MTVNI comms offices worldwide via two internal web portal   
sites for MTV and Nickelodeon. 
Assist the Director and regional intl communications teams in managing   
talent press tours. 
PR/Events Management 
Manage press efforts for international media during domestic MTVN   
award shows, including MTV Video Music Awards, MTV Movie Awards, and   
Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. 
Manage all aspects of event related press and logistics including:   
international media accreditation allotment; red carpet placement;   
studio/set visits, executive producer or talent interviews, rehearsal   
access, venue and gift bag tours 
Management 
With support of departmental assistant recruit and supervise bi-annual   
departmental interns. 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: 
3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in public relations,   
journalism, marketing or a related field 
Strong written and oral communication skills 
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks to completion 
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
Ability to interface senior executives 
Highly organized and detailed oriented 
Solid organizational problem solving skills 
Highly motivated, self-starter who takes initiative
