LAX JOB OPP - Junior Producer- Modern Luxury Media

Junior Producer- Modern Luxury Media (Los Angeles, CA)
Modern Luxury is currently seeking a full-time, contract-to-hire
junior content producer who will assist in the programming of the new
Modern Luxury website. The junior producer will work closely with the
digital executive producer to program and publish content across the
12 market verticals and various content categories.

Responsibilities include:
-Utilizing our content management system to editorially program and
publish content across the multiple-market website
-Monitoring the daily delivery of content from each syndication
partner to ensure the required level of available content as well as
promptly identify issues and communicate with the executive producer
for a resolution
-Monitoring community activity daily on the website to identify any
possible problems with inappropriate comments
-Other duties as assigned by executive producer

Required skills:
-Experience using a content management system to program a consumer-
facing website
-Understanding of web technologies, including content management
systems, XML, RSS and social media
-Meticulous, detailed-oriented, independent worker with the ability to
juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities
-Quick learner with a positive, can-do attitude
-Experience writing and editing web or print magazine content; strong
knowledge of grammar and style rules
-Understanding of programming strategies and targeting online behavior
(day-parting and engagement drivers)
-Some experience interacting with internal and external content
partners (syndication partners, in-house print magazine editors)
-B.A. in Journalism, English or related field

Desired Skills:
-Photo editing experience
-Interest in and knowledge of luxury lifestyle topics, including
Dining, Travel, Fashion, Culture, Beauty and Home Design
