Advertising Sales business. The Account Executive position will report
to the VP of Advertising Sales & Business Development. Position will
be based in either LA or SF.
Responsibilities:
- Develop target list and initiate contact with potential customers
- Research partner needs and propose custom advertising solutions
designed to address partner objectives
- Expand AC's presence in priority advertiser and agency marketing
organizations; establish and cultivate relationships with key decision-
makers throughout assigned territory
- Utilize all available tools to expertly and properly represent AC in

Journalism Foundation. The wages are that of a nonprofit startup; this

earning syndication project.
Long-term, successful syndication is the key to implementing a two-
year strategic plan to

larger network vision.

other general office responsibilities. Performance of secretarial and
clerical duties that require a highly specialized knowledge of subject
matter will be required. As will proficiency in accounting, budget
review and monitoring. This position requires a high degrees of
professionalism, diplomacy, attention to detail and a high level of
independent initiative, with minimal direction.
This position has the following requirements:
Secretarial school, Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
plus 3-5 years of experience working for a senior level executive in a
fast-paced environment, preferably in fields of media, marketing or
entertainment
Computer proficiency with all MS programs, especially Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Must be a self starter with high initiative and independence to
manage multiple projects, directives and committees with minimal
direction or supervision in a fast paced environment
Must posses the highest levels of intellectual, interpersonal and
customer service skills to perform with diplomacy and confidentiality
Must be an excellent editor and writer of the English language
Must posses high level of accuracy and attention to detail and
deadlines, excellent organizational and time management skills
Must have proficiency with financials and a comfort level around
statements and reports related to budget management
Salary is commensurate with experience plus excellent benefits. This
is a full time, exempt position.

Sierra Club, America's oldest national environmental organization,
seeks experienced Associate Press Secretary for its national
Communications department. This position will be based in Los Angeles,
while working with colleagues nationwide. This is a limited duration
of one year with possibility of extention depending on funding.
The position is responsible for planning and executing media
strategies, serving as liaison and spokesperson with media, writing/
researching messages, op-eds, reports, press releases, talking points
and other materials, and coordinating media events.
Requires 3 years prior experience as a journalist, media specialist or
other position involving media/press relations, and Bachelor’s in
communications, journalism, or a closely related field, or the
equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and/or
experience with environmental issues and/or national politics strongly
desired.
