Film Festival Coordinator- Loyola Marymont University
Summary of Essential Job Duties: Under the supervision of the Director
of Industry Relations the Film Festival Coordinator is responsible for
festival strategies and relationships that will connect students to
the industry and to the world of film festivals across the globe.

Educational Requirements: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading
knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/
policy changes.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 1-2 years of film festival
experience as programmer or festival director or a comparable position
in film acquisitions with extensive film festival knowledge and
relationships. Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral)
evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and
executive summaries incorporating complex, highly technical
information. Highly developed organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated computer competency. Able to manage special industry
related events, screenings, seminars, and workshops. Should have a
strong awareness of agents, managers and other professional
associations such as guilds and unions vital to entrance into the
industry (i.e. DGA, WGA. PGA, SAG, Film & TV Academy, and key festival
