Two Tomatoes Records, LLC is an independent record label that represents a
notable, award-winning children¹s band.

Our office is small and laid-back, and the hours are somewhat flexible.
We are located on the Upper West Side in Manhattan.
We are in need of extra help ideally two days a week and one or two weekends
a month to assist with concerts.

The Director of Development will oversee the implementation of a
comprehensive program to establish a diverse income base that will
ensure the Wende's long-term vitality and sustainability. S/he will
be responsible for execution and evaluation of strategic fund
development planning to achieve the Wende's financial goals. S/he
will have primary responsibility for funding relationships, including
research and grantsmanship, and for implementing cultivation and
stewardship strategies for all donors and all types of funding
sources. S/he will play an integral role in Board relations, plan
special events, and support programming and public relations. The
ideal candidate will have a broad fundraising background and
experience in similar non-profit settings. S/he will have a deep
interest in the Wende's mission and posses the enthusiasm needed to
build the capacity of this young yet important international
organization.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Reporting to the Arts for All Senior Implementation
Manager, this position will provide analysis, development, and

district-level Arts Coordinators, teachers, and arts providers. This
position works independently to administer all aspects of program
initiatives.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

* Serve as a primary liaison between Arts Coordinators and Arts for All
staff.
* Create roster of expert consultants and work with them to develop and
implement an in-depth professional development program for established Arts

implement training curriculum to meet those needs.
* Create training handbook for future Arts Coordinators.
* Analyze the overall effectiveness of initiatives and make

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited four year college or
university with major course work in education, arts, or a related field.
Master's degree in a related field is desirable. Three years project
management experience in arts education. Experience implementing
professional development programs for district administrators or educators.
Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively; demonstrated analytical and
decision-making skills; strong knowledge of current trends in arts education
in California.

ANNUAL SALARY & BENEFITS: The starting salary for this position in $51,756
and the salary ranges from $51,756-$67,884. A competitive benefits package

The Skirball Cultural Center (SCC) of Los Angeles, a dynamic cultural
institution devoted to exploring connections across cultures and
communities, is seeking an Associate Educator of Family Programs as a key
member of its Education Department. The Skirball's family programs include
outdoor, gallery-based, and performance-based experiences that serve more
than 100,000 visitors annually. These offerings have expanded significantly
with the opening in 2007 of Noah's Ark at the Skirball, an award-winning,
participatory destination for young children and families.

The Associate Educator reports to the Head of Family Programs. S/he is
responsible for the development and implementation of participatory and
experiential activities, workshops, festival programs, camps, etc., for
children of all ages and their families who come to the Skirball.

The Associate Educator position requires weekend work (especially Sundays)
on a regular basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
• Selects, plans, organizes and implements a wide variety of arts programs,
drop-in activities, festivals and workshops for families and children.

• Develops curricula for weekend family workshops related to Noah's Ark,
Archaeology and changing exhibitions; teaches/implements programs;
coordinates/reserves space; purchases supplies.

• Develops curricula for themed toddler programs; teaches/implements
programs; develops budget; coordinates/reserves space; tracks payments and
enrollments; purchases supplies and snacks.

• Communicates and works with artists presenting programs at the Skirball,
advises or collaborates on content when needed; ensures they have
appropriate space and supplies/props; responds to any particular

• Manages summer interns working with studio programs, camps, toddler
programs, and family workshops.

• Recruits and trains teen volunteers to work in family and performance
programs; manages volunteers during workshops and programs.

• Purchases supplies and equipment; maintains inventory; ensures adequate
stock is on hand; orders more as needed.

• Runs drop-in art family studio programs daily during school breaks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in arts education, museum education, or
related discipline.
• Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing educational programs in
a non-traditional setting for children and families.
• Professional experience in museum education, arts education, or related
area.
• Very effective oral, written, and listening communications skills and the
ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures, ages, and
economic backgrounds.
• A willingness to assist where needed; accept and support change; and
recognize individual differences when interacting with team members.
• Excellent written communication skills, including strong editing skills.
• Knowledge of Jewish culture and history and/or background in cultural
studies helpful.
• Artistic ability and experience desirable.
• A keen appreciation and understanding of the Skirball Cultural Center
mission and philosophy.
• Organizational skills sufficient to plan and organize projects and
initiatives.
• Personal computer skills; proficiency utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint.
• Current and valid driver's license and proof of insurance if using vehicle
