Supervising Producer/WGN Morning News
Want to be a part of the top-rated local morning news in Chicago? WGN
is looking for a news producer. The successful candidate will have
great news judgment and a demonstrated ability to craft a creative
rundown. We need someone who is confident in the control room and can
inspire a staff of writers and editors. Strong writing,
organizational, and people skills are vital.
Top 20 market experience required. Morning show experience a plus.
Should have an undergraduate degree in journalism or communications.
Previous newscast producing experience mandatory. Will be working in a
non-linear environment, so familiarity with digital technology
required.
