We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and well connected business executive to help us capitalize on significant growth opportunities in the digital media space. As head of sales/business development, this position will be driving sales, strategic relations, and partner management.
Some Key Responsibilities include:
o Drive, manage, motivate, and grow our sales organization.
o Responsible for achieving revenue goals of the company.
o Develop new sales strategies and channels.
o Manage and grow the sales pipeline.
o Participate as a key member of our senior management team.
o Manage relationships with key customers and partners.
o Develop sales presentations and a consistent approach to pitching our products.
o Strike key strategic deals and drive to closure.
o Manage sales performance plans and sales goals.
o Set up and maintain cross-organization sales tracking tools.
Skills/Requirements/Qualifications:
o Must have established VP/C level relationships at companies in at least two of the following sectors: digital media, web publishing, online retail, ISP & cable, and/or consumer electronics.
o Must have previous experience at the VP level running business development and/or sales, preferably at a company serving one of the above sectors.
o Superb presentation and communication skills.
o Highly familiar with B2B business models, the delivery of online services, as well as emerging trends in digital media.
o Creative deal maker, innovative thinker, and highly opportunistic.
o Communicates effectively and authoritatively in the areas of entertainment media, consumer electronics, and technology products that enable the delivery/ consumption of digital media.
o Extensive experience managing and motivating sales team members.
o Proven track record in sales with ability to meet and exceed aggressive sales targets on a consistent basis.
o Expertise in PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel to structure complex sales packages and proposals.
o College-level degree in business, marketing or related area required, MBA preferred.
